Mount Vernon ISD plans to start classes August 6

The Mount Vernon ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved changing the start of the 2020-2021 school year to be Thursday, Aug. 6.

Band leadership announced for 2020-21

Leadership for the 2020-2021 Mount Vernon High School Mighty Tiger Band was announced this week by Band Director Chris Partridge.

Madison Hodges Joseph TippitMadison Hodges will graduate as valedictorian and Joseph Tippit will graduate as salutatorian of the Saltillo High School class of 2020 in ceremonies at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 29 in the parking area in front of the school.
