MVISD cancels May election, declares candidates as elected

The Board of Trustees of Mount Vernon ISD called for the cancellation of the May 4 general election, certified the two candidates as unopposed, and declared them both as duly elected.

Cheerleaders receive State awards

The girls were selected by a committee based on cheerleading skill, community service, leadership and state performance.
