MVISD to close Thursday and Friday

Mount Vernon ISD announced late Tuesday afternoon that all district facilities would be closed on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 17 and 18 to allow time for facility sanitation.

No season tickets for Tiger football this year

No season tickets will be sold for the 2020 Mount Vernon Tiger football season. Only 1,425 tickets will be sold for each game to abide by current UIL guidelines, which limit the seating capacity to 50 percent.
