FFA, 4H project show Saturday

More than 90 entries have been registered for the annual Mount Vernon / Saltillo Young Farmer Project Show. The event is this Saturday, March 30, at the Livestock Pavilion located on FM 115 in Mount Vernon.

MVISD cancels May election, declares candidates as elected

The Board of Trustees of Mount Vernon ISD called for the cancellation of the May 4 general election, certified the two candidates as unopposed, and declared them both as duly elected.

Cheerleaders receive State awards
