The Mount Vernon High School girls golf team is advancing to the regional tournament set for April 24-25 in Bullard. Layton Wright from the boys team is also advancing.
The girls teams finished in second place at district, and the boys team finished in third place. For individual scoring see the April 20 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
