Tigers win first two basketball games of season

The Mount Vernon Tigers basketball team was finally able to take to the court this week, and won their first two games of the 2020 season.

Seven of the nine varsity players were on the football team. The Tigers were hosts for Como-Pickton Friday, December 18 and won 60-47. They Tigers defeated West Rusk 45-35 in Tiger Gym on Saturday, December 19. See the Decwmbwe 24 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more information and individual statistics.
